Meet Zelda, a 3 year old 60lb Black Lab mix who is ready to officially trade her rough past for a permanent spot in the front seat. Zelda was rescued after being dumped in a popular dumping ground in Menifee.  This cutie is a firm believer in the "shotgun" rule when riding in your car—she’s not just a passenger; she’s your dedicated co-pilot and navigator. While she might start off a little bashful, it only takes a bit of floor time and some gentle pets to melt her exterior. Once she knows you’re a friend, Zelda transforms into a professional cuddler who will politely—or not so politely—paw at you the second you stop the scritches. Zelda has an overall great demeanor and is very sweet . She’s so trusting that she’ll let you clean her ears and wipe her paws without a fuss, all while demanding a belly rub for her cooperation. Because she’s recovering from a rough start, this sweet girl is currently looking for a hero to help her through an upcoming ACL surgery.
