Meet Calista, a stunning Weimaraner mix who is roughly 2 years old and possesses a heart as warm as her striking amber eyes.
Calista’s journey to us started in Phelan, CA, where she was rescued from a severe hoarding situation. We were fortunate enough to rescue one of her puppies first, but we couldn't rest until we went back to get mama, too. Despite her young age, Calista had already been through multiple litters and lived through conditions no dog ever should.
Yet, against all odds, her past hasn't jaded her in the slightest.
Calista is one of the most forgiving, affectionate, and loving dogs you will ever meet. She is endlessly sweet, playfully energetic, and completely devoted to the humans around her. Watching her discover what it means to be safe, cherished, and played with has been pure magic.
