Reese is a 1-year-old Dachshund/Aussie mix under 30 lbs, and he is looking for a fresh start with a family that will love him unconditionally because he was unexpectedly returned to us a whole year later.
Reese was recently returned to us through no fault of his own. He was adopted as a 4 month old puppy and thriving (from what we had known through our periodic check ins). Now a year later, he’s right back where he started. We learned that not everyone in his previous household was fully on board with having a dog, and dogs can always sense when they aren’t fully embraced. At our rescue, we hold strong to the rule that every member of the household must be all-in, because every dog deserves to feel 100% wanted.
About Reese:
great with other dogs - although he should be fed separately
Fully potty trained + doggy door proficient
Has completed puppy training
Neutered & fully vaccinated
Loved by every volunteer who meets him!
