✨ Her Story: A Lucky Second Chance
Bellatrix didn’t have the easiest start to life. She was born at a homeless encampment alongside her mom and siblings, where every single day was a battle just to find food and survive. As you can see, she and her handsome brother, Lionel Messi, share a powerful bond—they are the ultimate survivors who are incredibly lucky to have made it out alive.
Thanks to the heroic team at Perris Strays, Bellatrix and her brother were brought to us, protected, and placed into a safe, loving foster home. Now, this sweet girl is ready to find a forever home where she never has to worry about her next meal again.
💖 Her Personality & Traits
The Ultimate Cuddle Bug: While she had to be tough to survive, Bellatrix is an absolute softie at heart. She is deeply affectionate and loves nothing more than to be held close.
Smart & Observant: True to her Border Collie and Shepherd roots, she is quick on her feet, agile, and fiercely curious about the world around her. She loves keeping a watchful eye on her surroundings.
Growing Her Confidence: Bellatrix started out quite submissive due to her rough beginnings, but she is blossoming every day! She is actively learning to stand up for herself and build up her puppy confidence.
Adventure Ready: She already walks beautifully on a leash and—bonus!—absolutely loves going for car rides.

Because of her working-breed mix, Bellatrix would thrive best in a home with Shepherd experience. She needs a family who understands her intelligence, can continue helping her build her confidence, and will provide the mental and physical stimulation a young Shepherd/Collie mix craves.
